Summer fairs in Suffolk

Woodbridge Vintage and Contemporary Market

Last weekend Super Queenie joined forces with our vintage co partners Stash Vintage, and went to the Gorgeous market town of Woodbridge in Suffolk..Aka wooders.
Decorated with lovely stripy market stalls selling Vintage nic-naks, furniture, china and clothing. As well as more hand made Bespoke pieces.

Following a very early start up at 5.15am we got to Woodbridge to set up at 8am to have our worst fears confirmed, it was still tipping it down with rain and our pitch had no cover!

After having a much needed coffee and huddling under a giant umbrella, we waited it out and by 10am we were able to start to un pack the clothing and set up just as the shoppers started to arrive.

I wouldn’t go far as to say that the sun came out, but the threat of rain held off, and we had a great day. met lots of lovely people, shoppers and stall holders. Even old friends coming to help and say Hi.

By midday we were busy with shoppers I love meeting new customers and see what they pick out and buy, especially when they are excited to find something!
It’s a great that lots of our new stock sold, its a measure that we are sourcing and buying the right sorts of clothing and accessories.
I have always felt that it is all very well selling vintage but it is vital that it is wearable and covetable to women buying.

By the end of the afternoon the rain looked like it might of been returning so we hastily packed up and wearily went home tired and happy.

Thanks woodbridge fashionista’s we will be back soon,
